Kogi ACReSAL SPMU yesterday, March 24, 2024 met with stakeholders and Community members of Ero Community in Ajaokuta LGA to shed light on the implementation process and objectives of the Community-led Landscape Restoration under the FAO.
The representative of the Project Coordinator, whilst addressing Community members, took time to shed light on the activities to be carried out under ACReSAL and FAO.
The PC’s representative appreciated the community for the impressive turnout, show of interest, and support for the proposed intervention, while assuring them that the intervention will bring about an improvement in their lives, as well as engender massive landscape restoration.
The Community leader, HRH, Isiaka Habib pledged the support of Ero Community to bring about the successful implementation of the Project, and also assured the Government of Kogi State that all community members who were all in attendance including the Fulani, are going to give their maximum cooperation for the success of the Project. He therefore thanked the State Government for considering Ero Community for such a laudable intervention.
The feedback from the Community was quite encouraging, and the SPMU looks forward to a productive partnership with Ero Community for a successful intervention.
