It’s no longer news that the Government of Kogi State, through the instrumentality of Kogi State ACReSAL will be carrying out various intervention programs in several communities across the three Senatorial Districts of the State. Consequently, in line with the PDO of the ACReSAL Project, Sensitization exercises are necessary in order to meet with various community members to enlighten them about what to expect as the ACReSAL Project takes off in earnest.
The Sensitization programme, which kick-started in the Kogi Central Senatorial District saw Kogi ACReSAL PMU staff visit “INOZIOMI and ETAHI” Communities.
The Sensitization programme, which was preceded by courtesy calls on Community Heads in the communities visited, went well; worthy of mention is that, in all the Communities visited, the ACReSAL team was treated to a warm reception by members of the communities who came out in their numbers to listen to the programmes which will definitely better their livelihoods, and of course, save their communities from life threatening gullies which had hitherto claimed lives, and devastated their properties, livelihoods, and critical infrastructure. Better days are certainly here!!!
