A Sustainable Environment is possible, when Stakeholders agree on the best way to interact with the environment.
Kogi State is adequately represented at the ongoing “17th Meeting of the National Council on Environment”, where matters bordering on “Environment Financing: The Need to Mobilize More Financial Inflows for Generating Adequate Resources in Support of Environmental Sustainability Efforts” are currently being discussed; and the Hon. Commissioner for Environment, Engr. Joseph Oluwasegun, as well as the Project Coordinator, Kogi ACReSAL, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto – OON, are in attendance.
Also in attendance is the Director, Environment, as well as the Director, Climate Change in the Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management.
It is hoped that knowledge gained from the parley by the Kogi State team will positively impact the ACReSAL Project and the State at large.
